This year, the European Interior Landscaping Organization (EILO) organises the third edition of the EILO Best Interior Landscaping Project Award. Interior landscapers from ten countries all over the world applied with very diverse and very inspiring projects in three categories: Stand Alone, Plant Wall and Interior Landscaping.
EILO is a cooperation of national trade associations for Interior Landscapers from Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Its aim is to connect professional interior landscapers to share knowledge, expertise and inspiration. With the Best Project Award EILO wants to generate attention for interior landscaping with the general public, as well as give an impuls to the quality of the profession. This year’s focus is innovation in design and sustainability.
The competition has three categories: Stand Alone, Plant Walls and Interior Landscaping. It is open to EILO members and non-members alike. Projects containing 100% natural greenery that have been realised between January 1st 2015 and December 31, 2016 are eligible for competition.
Projects will be judged on a number of aspects, such as originality, design, practical applicability, sustainability and their contribution to a healthy indoor environment. For each category there is a chance to win a Gold, Silver or Bronze award.
The winners will be announced at the World Green Infrastructure Congress 2017.
In 2015 Copijn (The Netherlands) won the Gold Award with their project Liberty Global. Second and third came Hydroplant (Switzerland) with Nature & Architecture and Donkergroen (The Netherlands) with Futura Atrium.
The Public vote was for Jardins de Gally (France) with Atlantis.
